Dr. Cam is originally from Ohio and graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 2022. He is passionate about the intersection of medicine, science, and education, and prior to veterinary school he spent several years teaching high school students in the sciences and mathematics. Inspired by the day-to-day variety of being in the classroom, he chose to orient himself towards veterinary medicine to combine all the things he loved: deciphering the animal patient, leading in the community, teaching people of all ages, exploring the outdoors, contributing to quality medicine with client- and patient-centered care, and pursuing innovative scientific advances. Dr. Cam has a passion for client education, surgery, preventative care, and internal medicine. Dr. Cam enjoys time on the porch with a good read or some lively tunes with his fiancée, Katie, and pointer pup, Fitz. You can find them on or around the lake no matter the season – kayaking, fishing, running, biking, dock-diving, hammocking with an icy cold brew (coffee or beer or both!), sailing, snowshoeing, skiing; you name it!! Know a good book? – let Dr. Cam know!
